Looking at this longer, I've come to like it more. Shadow of the nearby buildings is interesting, and you can see a little of what happens down at street level in Firenze. Firenze is probably my favorite city in Italia, as it's not so crowded and cramped and busy as Roma, and not nearly as touristy as Napoli or Roma. Beautiful architecture, as everywhere, plus a number of places to go for day trips via train or bus.
