I mean you picked the right artist who did the right Carmelita. That doesn't happen often! I hope one day I can comission something of Carmelita, too.

I've been told that I have a knack for picking out the right artists for the commissions I want and for this one I had many different artists in mind for. But I picked Daxratchett in particular for a pic that he did of Carmelita a while back which is one of my most favourite images of Carmelita, I think I made the right choice and he did an excellent job!

I mean you know.. Carmelita doesn't have a very consistent design.. so it's really hard to pick the right way to draw her :P

I don't have that problem I usually tell the artist how I'd like her in particular to which design I would like It's good to have variety to her I mean with some characters never change and that's boring! they never go out get their hair did and their nails done stuff like that the only massive design change they did was on the most recent game and all they did was change her clothes and gave her features some more detail compared to the whole comic book style look which honestly the only reason why people prefer that look is because that's the look that they are familiar with the most I like her no matter what design you are referring to. One of her best features in my opinion would be her attitude I like that the most about her.

I have a problem, the few times I've comissioned people - I can't decide what to comission nor can really explain perfectly what I want, so it's bad. Not like you who you know what you want. Personally, regardless if the main design is the same, the style kinda changed. I don't like Sly 4's Carmelita so much. To me it looks SO ugly.. I like Sly 1-3, my favourite would be.. maybe a mix of Sly 2 and 3?

I wouldn't go as far as calling it ugly, more so... needs salt. my biggest problem with the 4th is that they didn't focus on her enough, she went on 2 missions where she would save sly and galleth and that was it apart from that they turned her into a damsel getting her kidnaped too many times. T
hose missions were boring! and aside from that all you could do with her is free roam somebody from sanzaru needs to pull his dick out of his head if you ask me. Tell you what, If you have any ideas note me and I'll see what I can do with it, I'm going to be looking for mostly canon stuff for the future. (try to keep the fetishes to a minimum please!)

I wasn't focusing in how the character fares in the games (I sadly haven't played any, though I really want to, but I can't even emulate the games right, nor have a PS3..) I was talking about design in general, there's a personal nitpick of mine with how she looks in Sly 4. There's good and bads about the design. But eh, just hope they make her look good in Sly 5, if there's ever any, or the movie which seems to be cancelled. Also, while I appreciate the idea suggestion.. why did you ask me, right after I told you I'm quite indecisive and not very creative? :P I'd love to help and assist. If I ever come with something in those random sprees of mine I'll shoot you a note, but I haven't played the games to do something canon. And nice for you to warn me, but I don't think I'd be very fetishy.

yeah see to me the attraction was based on more than just looks, and you've never play a single game but you want to commission her for something? If that's the case then It's probably best you don't. It's no wonder you can't come up with something you don't even know the character, a picture without personality is just a blank shell without it i'd say "that's not Carmelita!" it's not enough to just focus on looks alone that would be shallow.

Uh.. no, I'm afraid you're getting it wrong. When I was talking about comissioning I was talking in general, not Carmelita, I never have tried to get anything with Carmelita, yet. I was talking that whenever I wanted to get something for me, for my character or whatever, I'm a indecisive person and had a hard time trying to be creative and come up with an idea or something! That was the main thing I meant with that, had barely not much to do with Carmelita. I don't plan to comission something with Carmelita so far. It's a wish but not something I see me doing soon. Not just money and indecisions, but also what you say. But you're putting me like I'm just a blind idiot who just likes her by looks! I have played the first two levels through PC and have wandered a bit about her character. I didn't mean to offend you or make me look like a blind idiot. I get your point though, but looks as if you came across rude XD

nothing of the sort maybe i read into that wrong It's just that I had no idea that we were trailing off subject but when you said that you have not played any, though really want to, plus don't own a ps3 (though you can get them on ps2) I just assumed we were still talking about the Sly games in general so please forgive my harsh criticism if it was off topic.
although I do know where you are coming about being indecisive I can be like that sometimes you just gotta go with the flow sometimes if you like it then go with it!
