Okay, as a Muslim, a Barbary lion fur and someone who loves orientalist art - this is seriously one of the most beautiful pieces of art I've seen on here in a while that has Arabesque/Turquerie themes.

My dear, you did amazingly - not many can actually create orientalist themed pieces and not get stuck in the stereotypical desert-tent-dweller image. If I may - this piece (and I think you may have another one) remind me a lot of the Mughals of India.

This reminds me, very strongly, of a super old computer game I used to watch my parents play when I was a wee little'un. Conquests of Camelot. There's a scene--shortly after you arrive in Jerusalem--where you meet an arab man who gives you qawa (clearly coffee) and dates, and teaches you vital information for the journey ahead. What a walk down memory lane!
