White Sun Communications Primer Issue ████████
Treasure Hunting in a crashed star conveyor in a frigid ocean. the sheer mass of this vessel displacing enough water to raise the local sea level at noticeable amounts. vessels such as these make for prime pickings for prospective scavengers and treasure hunters who dare brave the journey inside the mangled, labyrinthine ruins for technology, weapons, materials or fuels.
Not without risk, one can expect to find and fight against rival scavengers and salvage corps, still active and potentially lethal automated security systems, crew holdouts, flooding, live wires, total darkness, explosive fuel leaks, freezing coolant leaks and radioactive contamination. possible hostile fauna infestations, structural instability and the fact that that the wrecks are still considered property of whatever Empire or Faction it originally belonged to.
This one was another practice at drawing backgrounds and colour/painting. still new to me. also the backgrounds in color was done the SAI 2 beta. it was also to test out its new features

Nice! Like, seriously nice! A great splash of blue to your gallery, another cool 'full scene' to add to your repertoire, and a piece just filled with so much fascinating stuff it's worth a good few minutes of just staring up and down and wondering. And then that rather cool little description: what an impressive list of dangers that scavengers have to deal with, with more than a few things I imagine several people might not have remembered in a setting like this! I there ever was a piece that could show your attention to detail, it's definitely this one!
I really dig your atypical compositions in this piece and Dying Star. Really lends itself well to having people look all around the piece. The foreground silhouettes do a nice job of framing too, without being just a boring black border. And obviously just a lot of great showcases of your hard future aesthetic style going on... which is probably the single biggest thing I like about your content.
Also just the thought-provoking pose too. I can't fully decide if this guy's backing up and trying to flee, aiming his cool compact rifle back at some off-screen pursuer... or he's just arrived and is keeping his weapon aimed as he balances his way down some tricky terrain, ready to see what can be found inside. Just gotta wonder how this fella gets away with not wearing a helmet, with all the very dangerous dangers you mentioned in the description...
Whatever the case, I dig this a lot! S'a pretty great piece you should be proud of, even for a practice piece. And hey, if it's just a practice piece and you can still see ways to improve... well, just imagine how badass your stuff's gonna look when you get up to a skill level you're happy with!

Ay thanks. there was a lot of green in my gallery now that you mentioned it. and writing the Travel Guide style White Sun Communications Primers i think helps add more detail to the picture and worldbuilding while still making it feel a bit distant from the picture.
also maybe his helmet is in his bag because i forgot to draw it slung over his back by straps. though he may only scratching the surface since one can still find valuables there. but the deeper in the wreck, the more likely to find better unbroken treasures and tech. risky.

Yeah, and I really like this particular excerpt. Something about the way you considered several kinds of dangers that I feel like most people wouldn't know or think about much. Really sets the imagination running wild alright! Makes me kind of hope maybe you'll do more stuff like this and Dying Star!
Shame I can't listen to the music... says it's not available in the United Kingdom...
