I've been following Night In The Woods for a long long time, and it finally came out and it didn't meet my expectations

It surpassed them.

First time in a long time I've felt so affected by a story! It was something else. I finished it in three days and I'm sad it's over. Gotta think about it some more, let it digest. But damn. All the characters were so charming, so alive. Like you could know them all. Game dealt with themes I empathize with - coming home, small town life, friendships and how they change, mental health, jobs and employment and how -absolutely terrifying- the future and change can be.

Anyway, here's some quick fanart I threw together. I want to do something more involved! Something more complex and kinda gathers the threads of the story together in one image.

If you haven't played this game, I fucking recommend it my god.
