Amber-aria did this awesome concept sketch for me. Damien's in the same setting as Jaws/Bunnybros, the son of a famous superhero-spider that was a sorcerer. He found his father dead with a crystal knife embedded in his back. When Damien pulled the knife out, his arm was consumed with crystal, and the spread of it only stopped with a protective spell.The crystal has given him heightened powers, particularly the ability so summon up crystal replicas of a handful of weapons, but using them causes his curse to spread. It will certainly be fatal if he doesn't find a cure, and he knows he ought to start with whoever killed his father.
