Like, foot size? as someone with really big feet and trouble finding shoes, I take liking to characters with larger feets, they seem pretty big *shrugs* how tall are you supposed to be?

Well, my fursona's 4 inches tall.
Sammy's pretty tall.. Around 7 feet canonically. So I guess her shoe size would be around a 13-14.

Try using a line of action! At its most simple, it's like a gesture pose condensed into a single line.

I usually do, but I think I abbreviate my line of action. But you add such little nuances that enhance the character. There is a natural fluidity to your work. Splay of toes. Limbs akimbo that looks natural and relaxed when you want it to. The lines imply volume and form so well.

You're just killer good.

I think when it comes to cartoon characters the artist is relieved of portraying accurate anatomy or rather realistic proportions. Once you have the gesture, you pretty much have a good idea of what you want.
