Not to exact anatomy of the ones in the game, but here is my new found favorite in Monster Hunter Freedom 2. Coming back from a long haul for work, I was entertained by my PSP. This Quest came to slay this guy . . . which I had never even seen before, other than screenshots online. All I can say is, 'holy hell.' It's large, it's hard to get to, it sprays nasty water and when it runs back to water from dry land, its hilarious! This is what this little FANART piece is based off of . . . that little duck run for water.

Oh heck yes, awesomesauce arts. The trick with fighting Plesioth is to either use a lance, or a ranged weapon. The sonic bow, or any bowgun that fires thunder or Fire shot work quite well. Black Belt Bowgun is quite effective, as is Melnyx Ragdoll. You can lure Plesioth out of the water with Frogs via fishing when it's calm, or rouse it out with Sonic Bombs whenever it's in range. Craig and Clust shot also work to knock it out of the water rather quickly. If you can get a good idea of it's path when running back to the water from land, you can trap it fairly easily for a capture or just a few nice potshots.

Alas, if you want good advice on how to KO Plesioth easily, guns are THE way to go. 8D
It narrows all concerning attacks down to one (The waterjet), and pretty much everything else is irrelevant. :3 My friend Isaac and I had to retardedly slay two G-Rank ones this way, so yeah.. xD
