Ive been working on adapting little known mythical creatures to the my little pony universe and one of those creatures is the Ipotane!

In myth, Ipotane are thought to be the earliest version of the centaur as well as being a precursor to the satyr.

We only know of them from a few images on pottery, but essentially ipotane are like satyr, only with the goat parts swapped out with horse parts.
However, to make them compatible with My Little Pony, a show which doesn't show human-like faces even on mythical creatures said to have had it, like manticore or centaur, I kept the face more horselike, and made the design seem more like a minotaur, if the bull parts were swapped with horse parts.

As Ipotane are a legitimate mythical creature, I feel they would be the best avenue to take for people looking to create anthro pony oc's within the my little pony franchise, and i have 2 more drawings of ipotane characters can show for as reference for anyone interested.
