Circa 2011; to this day I live in fear of drawing antlers, so almost all of my cervines somehow coincidentally end up being female.

Thank you! I've only ever seen four - a bull once just off of a logging road well into the bush and a cow with two calves near my house beside a country road one winter. I'm kind of glad to not see them, especially near roads. I'd be pretty scared to encounter one while hiking, I hope that never happens, although I suppose encountering a moose on foot is probably waaaay better than encountering one in a vehicle. (Ack!)
