For those who followed me for a long time, you'd know of a last gasp effort to get back into Sonic fandom with a fan comic called "The Mobius Chronicles." While the story itself would be forgettable, there was one character that isn't to me: Antoine Decollete.

Or should I rather say, an version of Antoine that was actually cooler and suavier than Sonic. I styled him after Gambit.

In the remake of Blood and Metal, I have an opprotunity to pull a Win out of a long-standing Fail and make another 'Cool Antoine,' which will be the leader of the pro-Sarah Knights faction. He'll also be the deputy leader of the resistance and I'm at the point of his entrance into Book 1's Second draft.

His initial name is Antonio, no last name yet; I'm open for suggestions. He's usually well coordinated and one of the most courageous knights in Sarah's court, (although he can get startled) and although his more refined persona clashes a bit with Eric's down on the farm style, the two manage to get along. And while Ant might not figure out what the Princess sees in the obvious country bumpkin, he's the one with all the girls beating down his door.
