I have a series of images that I'm going to call Urban Exploration 'UE' fodder.
These are buildings that have been vacant as little as 4 months to as high as 9 years.
Slightly trashed apartment, this bathroom was pretty bad. This is a slightly different shot, farther into the unspeakable space.
Shot RAW with a 'Bleach Process" filter by Color Efex within Aperture.

If you look at the pic long enough. It's almost the same style as some of the rooms in the other abandoned buildings you went in. Put a rot hole in the floor, 55 years worth of dust, a clear view into a dilapidated basement with some flaking paint on the walls and you're set. Oh, and add the history of murdered hospital patients in as well for effect. :P
Indeed. There's some old vintage buildings here down in the village that haven't been touched in years and are slowly falling apart like everything else. But luckily someone bought one of my fave buildings down there. Don't know if it's going to be used for anything. But my mom said she say about a dozen box trucks down there when they were moving items out of the building. She said it was tons of vintage Victorian stuff. So who ever bought the building got incredibly lucky. I'll have to take a pic of the unsed buildings down there. There's an old fire station I'd absolutely love to have. But an awesome work shop since it's mostly a garage.
