Tya's a chasmaporthetes, or prehistoric running hyena, a species which was actually closer related to the dog-like modern aardwolf than to the common spotted hyena. I was unable to find fossil references concerning the number of front toes which chasmaporthetes had while I was designing Tyanar; aardwolves have five, so it's likely that chasmaporthetes did too.

This is probably one of my favourite designs; I did a lot of research before I made it, discovering that chasmaporthetes would have looked more dog-like than today's hyenas (it being related closer to the aardwolf, as mentioned above,) and also making her look fast, since paleontologists believe that this was a speed predator much like the modern cheetah.
