Some of you were wondering what the view for the little ones on the street would be like, and since I wanted to practice shading again anyway, woof spent the last night putting this together~
Was a ton of fun, but a lot of (annoying) work on the city, too x3 I'm not really good with cars, either, so they turned out a little "old-school" looking instead of sporty new models. I'm not a big car-fanboy in reallife, either x3 I know
what the one I'm driving is called, but that's already the limit, I can't even memorize what cars my direct neighbours are driving x3
The shading was a lot of fun as well, anything that feels like I'm shading on real paper is a lot of fun to do, even if it wasn't a lot more than the legs xd
Anyway, hope you like it

Here's the money shot.
Probably be more catwalk with a full body shot but these two work. These paws are thin and athletic looking, seems different from what you usually put forth.
I like to imagine she's on her way to a larger meetup with others her size out away from the city that way it's not so difficult to draw.

This is really nice as a follow-up to the last one. The scale from the legs helps to further solidify her height, and the perspective also helps in the same way.
It's rather nice to see the musculature and/or bones of legs like this, too. It's interesting to see. The shading is also nice, too. There's something about these black and white pictures from all of these years of drawings that really benefit from any form of shading you wish to practice, and it's always great to see what you'll try next.
And again, the buildings are a nice background without taking away the main viewpoint. As for the cars, a little simplicity doesn't hurt the overall picture. I think so long as they help set the scale and aren't blocks made with square tires, they won't distract anyone from the main view of the picture. Though I do want to know how the guy on the left got that license plate...when I tried making something like that as a joke, they shooed me out of the DMV.
Regardless, can't wait for more. It was certainly a treat to see this Gatomon, from head to toe!

thanks dude n.n
yeah the black-white pics are fun now that I've gotten myself a mostly proper system, but I feel like now's the time to practice colors a lot more. Only problem is that I'm terrible at them x3 The like... realistic backgrounds I'd really like to be able to do, just colors you know, no linework, but I don't quite get it x3
