For someone who calls himself flakjackal, there is a distinct lack of jackals on my blog.

I tend to blend a bit much in a lot of my paintings. It gives them this wierd smooth look. For this one I deliberately tried to preserve the painterly feel and tried to incorperate lighting and shadows earlier into the process.

I also actually drew the whiskers and the ear lobe thingies.
