Eh, first things first, I guess. Reilith was one of us Reps who joined the army to get away from home. I'm not sure why, though, I don't think he ever did anything crass. He was more of a supporter, someone for the little jobs. I guess he was just really worried they'd catch him. Nice little guy, liked by everybody, sociable, bit of a dreamer. Now that I think of it, he did mention that he was thinking of running away. Which I thought was crazy talk. I mean - much as things currently suck for us, it still seems infinitely better than what the N.C. have to offer, which is why we just don't get any deserters. But I guess there's always an exception to the rule. Well. Last thing we saw of him was how he went down during a skirmish. We heared him call out for a while. Nothing we could do, though. When there was finally time to search for him, he was gone, just a bit of blood on the ground. And months later now he's been sighted with that foxy lady. People swear she was in that battle back then, and really dishing it out. He must've convinced her to take him along. Also, they seemed really close from what I've heared. Don't the N.C. discourage love and feelings and all that, or is that too just propaganda? It also can't have been too easy to convince them to trust him... then again, Rei's pretty harmless.
So, um. I guess it's working out for one of us at least. Isn't that odd? But good for him. Really, I hope he's happy. The only thing we shouldn't do now is win the war, but we just have to keep stalling until the dictatorship crumbles from within, which can't be long now. ... C'mon, don't give me that look, bird-man, you can't tell me you still believe in this, either!"
