My entry for the Fwa art contest.
Today was the last day to send entries in. I went down to the wire on details with this. Researching the costumes, fighting moves, anatomy, perspective.....
I can say completely that this picture is the hardest thing Ive ever drawn. The amount of effort and work thats gone into this thing. I don think I can accurately describe how much effort went in. Hopefully the art itself describes that for me.
Im sure there are little things I missed. With something this large its hard not to miss things.
I wish I had had more time to add more and to make the background I truly wanted.
Regardless Im happy with the final result. And above all even if I didnt win a single thing I can atleast say I gave it everything I could. :3
As for the characters themselves, they are just anthros I made up based on the video games characters. A mink for Samus, a raccoon dog for Mario, a cat for Peach, a bunny for Link, a falcon for Captain Falcon, a husky for Zelda, and a fennec fox for StarFox.
Art belongs to me Fuzzycoma.

My favorite is Brawl because it is the only Smash Bros. game to have a story to it, the Subspace Emissary which explains Master Hand and Crazy Hand's actions in the previous games. I did not care for the new game since it may as well be an incomplete game with all the DLC they keep making for it as of late. That one is described as being an alternate sequel to Melee, one which I feel was uneeded. Can you see why Brawl is my favorite and where it ends for me?
Thank you!
All of these characters are heavily based off of Nintendo characters. And if I took the costumes away they would all be just basic characters with no defining features. For both of these reasons they'd make awful adopts unfortunately. But I very much appreciate the feedback! X3

Hmm, actually now that I look at her if I took away the Zelda apparel completely I could probably make her into a unique character. Then there wouldnt be a copywrite problem. Thered be alot to work with considering the dress covers like %80 of her.
I may look into it. XD
Currently Im busy but if theres interest in her I might as well sell her instead of her sitting there.

Even with the zelda apperal there isn't much of a copyright issue if you make a second version of the same character without the clothing. (Just like cosplayers or even people making art in general) I just like how natural she looks <3 The only thing I would ask is maybe change her eyes to hazel? Most my sona's are hazel (My natural eye color is hazel, teal around the edges and shadows of brown in the center). What price would you be looking at to work with her since I am interested :) Not sure how busy you are or what your schedules like.
I'm definitely not opposed to making her and making changes to her.
The only thing I'm still against is the outfit. It's partially due to copywrite and partially that it was super hard to draw lol. (That being said should you buy her you can always commission other artists to draw her in that outfit.)
I can keep her hairstyle and her markings. Just not the outfit and jewelry.
Normally drawing characters in cosplay isn't a problem, but since I specifically made her as a anthro Zelda I'm a bit iffy on it.
I'll be busy for the week with a large themed commission. After that I'll be free to take on more work.
I dont make adopts normally but I do make ref sheets and stuff all the time. Here's my price sheet:

But yeah, thank you for the interest! And feel free to message me should you have any more questions.
