Uni is still kicking my ass atm of posting, so I've only had time to roughly sketch ideas out.
Taiga dragons have a wide variety of facial and horn variance from individual to individual. Fur types tend to me localized to populations and their locations. A dragon who lives on the coast might have wiry, oily fur that dries quickly, while the rare group that lives further south might have unusually short, thin coats.
As far as 'beards' and tusks go, either gender can posess them. The main visual tell for taiga dragons is the size and bulk difference between females and males.
