It was a very surreal time when Pokemon Go came out. I was hanging out with  wild-kitten at the time, and we would constantly run back and forth to the beach playing it. Almost everyone we walked past was discussing it with us, everyone wanted to hang out together, we were all connected because of this game and the massive nostalgia behind it. I've never heard of anything like this ever happening before outside of conventions.
