Endless Realms bestiary - Possessed Doll
Bestiary artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
This concept was the only one this block that was given to me already completed by the team - animated dolls possessed by (usually unwilling) souls, who are bound inside and controlled by a master. The dolls can mimic any role that a sentient being could have had in life, being determined by the specific soul that is enslaved - in this case, the art director wanted me to have both a caster-type and fighter-type example.

Multiple questions. First being is the big fuzzy fella in the back a fighter doll, or is that the owner of the doll. Secondly would these type of people work well with a necromancer. So the necromancer would get all the bodies, while the puppet master gets all the unwilling souls it could ever ask for. Therefore making an "unstopable" army of puppets and zombies.
