The frigate called 'Sting" from my little own universe. This one belongs to the "Empire of the three". The name mostly originates from the three great nations that in this empire. What to say in short. An expanding military empire. It history is filled with wars for their continent. Eventually they had came out of this wars victoriously and they Empire covered of most of the continent. Except the highland what they failed to access for many decades. The highlands are consisted of 4 big mountains lines what were hardly fortified in defensive lines against the new great empire. A long standing war has came, what seems to bring the empire to it's limits, with out any progress. The turn in this war came by a new technology, what enabled levitation or commonly called flying. As usually it had many problems. And the prototypes were costy and not enough reliable. Under the pressure of the military regime they had applied the technology on a damaged cruiser on dry dock. After a few try's the managed to lift the ship in sky and prevent it from turning upside down. After it it was applied rushy in the half of the imperial navy. The new flying armor won the last war for the empire.
The I.N. Sting is a refited cruiser. The fly ship technology was cut trough it hull. So ass the 4 deck gun on it bottom. The guns were built in a new way so the air pressure keep the water out of the guns room when the ship is on water. It commonly can stay in the air for a 16 days if it's fully tanked. After it it should land in water immediately. Generic problems of these vessel are the leaking of engine doors. A few of em sunk cuz of this. The other problem still is that mostly traveling is safe in good weather conditions.

Very nice, but from the general look, I'd have expected a lot more secondary armament in casemates on the superstructure. also, I'd imagine they'd have stability problems if they tried to fire broadside. Though even just the two twin turrets (I'd guess somewhere in the 8 to 10-inch range) it's still a quite respectable throw weight.
Board fire is also not a big problem. At battle ready condition the main turrets turn controls the 6 stabilization output. It works somewhat like this: If we turn the turrets broadside the board thruster increase they out put to prevent the ship from falling over to board side. When the turrets fire the ship would turn over to it's starboard side cuz of the push. For this all turrets has their fire frequency. They fire works in a strict time table. So before they fire all the board thruster stop and the right starboard ones are fully on. And than the turrets can fire in they calculated time. And the ship wont turn over after they shout all the thruster turn back to the regular state. As I imagined this to work they have a chart made up for all wind conditions and such, the thruster and cannon controllers sit in a room where they can see the ship model and the turn of the 4 turret, and same basic light that are they ready or not and such. Technical they keep the ship standing all the time from that roomThey can easily calculate the proper operation conditions from the chart and from the instruments, and with many practice they can work this system smoothly.
About the secondary guns yeah I didn't draw much. I could have add some more on the tops of each big gun, lazy me.

Ahh, looks like a variant of the classic Starblazers battleship Yamato design. Here's the weblink for the series: http://www.starblazers.com/home.php
hmmm...
well, the idea of equipping your battleships with the technology to lift up and fly seems to be a good one as it would, in theory, allow even the biggest battleships to carry their heavy ordinance to fortresses in the mountains or deep in the mainland.
however, one question...
well, the ship doesn't have any guns below, just up on top like a regular ship. that is fine when battling out at sea, but it seems highly inneffective when trying to bombard targets below when in the air. so how is the ship going to attack targets that are on ground level?
