Copleand groaned as she laid on top of the elevator. As she looked up she saw smoke rise pasted her, something big come down at her.
Circuit let go of the cords she slid down on and pulled Copleand onto her feet. "Are you alright?" her phone rang.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Copleand said as she glared at her "Haven't you fallen three stories before?"
"Guys, is that you?" Torrent's voice called from below them. "We're down here!"
"Torrent!" Copleand said and looked downward for the opening. A small hatch was on the elevator shaft, and was open with smoke fuming out. "Torrent, Are you and the others okay? Where's the rest?"
"Down the hall down here," She replied "a loud wall of gas fire is blocking the way and we can't put it out." Then she let out a loud cough. "Can you get me out of here? It's hard to even see with this smoke."
"Stay low to the ground," Copleand said "You'll be under the smoke. We're coming down." Then she turned to Circuit, but she was already pulling apart the elevator doors to the floor they were closest too."Circuit, what are you doing?"
"The water is going to pour into that hallway from this shaft." her phone went off, and Circuit pried the doors apart "We're going to need an alternate way to pull evacuate the floor." Then she ran inside the room.
Boom, A rumble deep and violent was heard above them, Copleand looked up the shaft, then at the hallway Circuit entered, and then the elevator she was on. She looked at the hatch and slammed it shut.
"Copleand, what are you doing!?" Torrent shouted through cough after cough.
"The water's coming!" Copleand shouted "What ever you do, don't open this hatch!" She even took out her knife and jammed the hatch shut.
"Copleand, help!" Torrent screamed and then coughed again.
"Get out of the elevator, and stay low to the ground" Copeland said, and them whimpered "I'm sorry." The ran into the hallway Circuit entered and then pressed a button to shut the elevator doors. She stood at them as the closed, staring. She clenched her eyes shut and her fists, but a tear or two fell out still. "Well save you. We have to...."
