Union Pacific #1530 muscles it's local up the grade at Hearst Siding. It sounded like me like it was transitioning, but I want to say that ever since Dash-2 that transitioning isn't done anymore.
Originally erected in 12/1971 as Chesapeake & Ohio #3783, then CSX #6558, then Southern Pacific #7295. It was rebuilt to a GP40M-2 either late in CSX's ownership or shortly after it became a Southern Pacific locomotive.
An interesting side note, sometime after the UP takeover of the SP, someone fuzzily spray painted an SP BACK onto this engine nose's 'bandit patch', and it stayed that way until the Armor Yellow was applied in 2011.
