So Sapphire at Mango Island Creation
should start working on my opossum hoodie around the end of July. I'm ecstatic.
To keep me patient, I've been hunting for the print for the lining. I thought some of you might enjoy seeing what I've come up with as choices.
A. Bananas on red. Possums like fruits. And I do love the bananas.
B. Bugs on green. Possums like bugs too!
C. Bugs on yellow. Same reason as the green, but I wasn't specially keen on the shade of green so thought I'd try the yellow version.
D. Cookies and Milk. Now that one is absolutely adorable. Unlike the others, I have no idea whether it is still in print, whether it'd actually be possible to find some. But it's way to adorable to pass, and me being the big cookie monster that I am, it fits perfectly.
E. Brown/Burgundy stars. I have a thing for stars. But I like them to be not too "kiddy". These looked nice.
F. Same starts on green. Same reason, same pattern, I love stars, and I have a thing for the color green as well.
G. Not sure whether this one is still in print but I like how tiny the stars are (in real life, they'd probably be even smaller than that) and the high contrast with the black.
H. Stars on moss. I like how faded these stars look. Plus they're larger than most I've seen, so it's different.
I. This one I'm fairly sure it's impossible to find enough to line a whole hoodie, but it would've been my all time favorite so I chose to include it. M&Ms!!! I love M&Ms to death and it would've been both colorful and fun as well as fit with me to a t.
J. Simple foliage. Something a bit more discreet than the others while still keeping to a "natural" theme.
K. Polka Dots! I love that shade of red, actually. It's my favorite color to match with black and white. for a long time I used to draw only in black and white with that shade of red. :D
L. Stripes. 'Cause I must.
Which one do you prefer and why? :D

I totally agree.
I'm in love with D because I love the idea of having a hoodie lined with cookies, but I don't like that print itself so much. The contrast with the blue is too strong for a liner. I wish I could find a more plain cookie print. Like just cookies. Piled up. So it'd only be shades of brown... Or something.
