God, this reminds me of when I found a book of my Dad's as a kid called Patrick Woodroffe: A Closer Look. I hid in my room with it and gawked over the detail as well as the process behind it. Much like I am now, in fact - very, very impressive.

Sorry, fellow. Your art styles do not match, for one thing. It's almost like you are stealing stuff. Which, I am afraid, you must be....no offense if you are not, but this is the most likely explanation. Too bad about the fave until I figure it out.

Hahaha no, go ahead and think whatever you want. This is why I stopped uploading art after I was 14 on yerf -- if I tried something experimental, furries either want you to go back to an older style of art you did or suspect you copied something. Or, if someone copied my artwork but became way more popular, people would a few months down the road accuse me of stealing. Eh, so it goes. I'm never offended because my imagination is a never ending pit of wealthgurgle no one else can steal, mruahaha.
But I'm 23 now, have been online as a fur for 12 years, and have been on archive after archive year after a few more or two, just trying things out <3 I feel I'd do better in fantasy art than furry. This was one of the first fantasy-makeup-as-I-go drawings I ever did, dating to just the end or a little after my high school years. So, 5 years ago? Then came the surfwyrms, then most recently the djinn and leprechaun smoking. I think they have a similar evolving feel in them, if you want to critique it that way. But yeah, I get ya that I don't show enough of my art to convince a casual viewer I have a wide range, so, well I've been planning to apprentice under a pro artist hardcore and learn to actually *finish* things in the upcoming few months. Eek, long sentence. But yeah, you won't doubt I didn't gank this soon enough.
But it's always good to have motivation to get on it and prove myself, danke~
