Actually I only wanted to post this because it's the first pic I coloured with Painter. I just got the proggy and I think I'm in love with it. Also, here's what happens when I try to draw a background; I end up filling the paper with stuff so that there's no space left to place anything on the foreground! Anyway, uh. This is the first time I tried to draw a big city... It started out as a doodle I did during today's lectures.
Hath Dalaka is the place I will go after I die. It's a huge city state full of evil things, wickedness, filth and power. And some jolly good people, too. Some day I will go there and try to make their life better because I made them in the first place. They'll never believe me, but it's okay. Dalaka is full of crazy street preachers.

Thank you for your nice words, Leahtaur. I need to do more experimenting with Painter. Colouring with it is great fun!
But I must say I don't really enjoy doodling cityscapes... Perspective has never been my friend. And yet - strangely enough - I just bought this massive book about architecture in Florence. -_-;;

Awh, be careful or I might get myself an actual ego! It's still very nice of you to say so. =)
And don't get me wrong - this must be the only cityscape pic I've done in years. Mostly I avoid them like plague because I don't know how to draw a straight line even with the help of a ruler. I wish I was better at depicting real architecture.
