Zelphiots are souls corrupted upon dying, often turning into playful spirits. There is a rare chance that the Zelphiot will have multiple animal characteristics, but it is a common thing to have two different animal traits.

A playful species, they are often shy when approached by new creatures. After warming up to the new creatures, they have a tendency to act as guardians or companions to the creatures.

Due to the fact that they are intangible, they cannot be consumed. Ghost-kin can potentially eat their essence, but due to the lack of core, the Zelphiots will just reform later.
