Every time. Every goddamn time he wears that red scarf, people just won't shut up with the cereal gags.
It was barely funny the first time, people. He's heard it before. Let's all just move on.
(So I was surfing the net and found a cute picture of a tiger yawning and this happened. Thank you, random cat photographer person.)

I certainly won't complain about a Vuillard comparison, but do these colors really look muted on your display? That's wild. They're pretty much crazy saturated here -- I wonder if there's some color profile clash or something going on?
But yeah, simplifying shapes well is hard, but the people who can do it right amaze me.

Reason why I say that is because they're earthy tones. yeah they're saturated, but their full intensity is muted all around, and the lights are high key and the darkest colors are middle keys.
So it's not a complete Vuillard style, but there are some similarities I picked up on. He also like bringing out reds too, so I thought it was interesting that you did that with the scarf.
It's kind of astounding how much of the internet community take people's lifetimes of finding out their own artistic patterns for granted. I mean, there's so much that people have done that I would've never thought about, and the realm of fantasy realism becomes over-rated when exposed to all of these different masters, who have conquered realism at a ripe age, then moved onto a step beyond that.
