magarnan and oh boy, was this one an adventure.
"Kizzie, Mag's long time friend and companion, being the last who feels compassion for Mag after he lost himself, seeks to try reach out to Mag, to remind him of of the being that he once was, to try to find the good and the compassion in his soul, that still exists within the raging turmoil of his being, to save him from himself."
Magarnan came to me with a collection of concepts all centered around two characters; Magarnan in his enraged dragon form, and Kizzie. It was wonderful to get to do another detailed piece right up my alley, and I couldn't have asked for a cooler concept or commissioner.

oh my god *fans self*
Okay, but in all seriousness. I simply adore the way you approach the mass of the characters. Like, oh my gosh, every piece of meat feels so valid, it's so enriching to focus a bit longer on all how it's crafted. OKAY AND this also means non-physical matter, like this frickin fire. Fantabulously pleasant to look at!

This image is absolutely breathtaking. I love everything about it. The composition, the characters, the contrast of lighting and the details. The back of the dragon is phenomenal, from the textures to the lighting - it just looks so real.
Whenever you create paintings like this I become more and more convinced that you are not real. No mere human can paint like this. *squints at you*
