Artist Hell - The Artist Spotlight Dilemma
Okay guys I just came up with this idea for a short comic strip a few days ago and today I managed to put it down onto digital paper.
I think everybody who ever drew a picture and uploaded it to a site knows the feeling of being ignored and that others who might have put less effort into their work get more attention than you.
Now we have some awesome furries who are trying to help not-so-well known artists to become more popular by putting them into an "artist spotlight" and tell others about them.
But also here it might happen that the spotlight never shines on you. And sometimes that can get to you.
Now I am not saying that I feel this way, since my last pictures really got an outstanding amount of views, comments and so on, which I am really grateful for.
So this little comic strip is dedicated to anybody who is struggling to become more popular but hasnt had the luck yet to be featured in an artist spotlight event.

Yes that's true... solution for this is... the amount... if you meet two criterias:
a) porn
b) much of it (frequent uploads/many pictures)
you'll get as much attention as you want... I saw a few artists who don't draw very well... they don't even draw nice... but they post many pictures over short periods of time... this is the solution.

Then one has a problem and two possible solutions:
a) not to complain about being unpopular here at FA
b) register and post pictures on galleries where porn is disallowed but still the gallery is enough popular to get some attention.
I do not suggest anyone to draw porn if one does not like it, but such a person cannot complain about popularity here because if you want to be popular at FA you must draw porn or be a FUCKING GOOD clean artist... To be equally popular clean artist you have to draw 10x better than if you were a porn artist...

Well, I'll say this. I have phenomenal taste in art. So if I'm watching you, then you're already one of the best. And if I'm not watching you? It means I've not "discovered" you yet or your typical artistic subject is contrary to my aesthetic tastes (which doesn't mean you're terrible, it just means I can't relate).
