Old structures have an appeal that I find lacking in modern buildings.

Take plane travel as it is today, sterile spaces, nondescript colours, efficient surfaces.

Take train travel almost a century ago, dusty, dimly lit, warm and soulful.

This image was taken after 10pm on a weekday. Where would you rather show up, a pleasant place with wood, sky and fresh air, or bland place with stainless steel, glass and hard surfaces?
