Moon & Aldebaran just before occultation
The Moon will pass in front of Aldebaran (α Tau) tonight. I took this photo about an hour before occultation. Even though Aldebaran is the 14th brightest star in the sky and magnitude 0.75 to 0.95, it's barely visible so near to a first quarter Moon.
