A little piece I've worked on for the past week. As you may already know, Shell Belly was my partner in Super Mystery Dungeon, so I decided to give her a solo image, as she is a favourite of mine. Shell Belly was also the name of my starter in Black, so I have an extreme attachment to her.

I think the trickiest things in this picture were the 'bubbles' on her neck, and the arms. I spent a fair bit of time trying to get the arms to look right, as I kept making them sizes I found undesirable. They're still not the best, but I am happy with how they turned out. I also think the diaper looks a bit large for her, but overall, I think she looks fine. I also added a water drop onto the panel, as I couldn't think of anything else sizeable enough.(I did try the Expedition Society logo, but it was too big)

At first, I also had her with fangs, but I felt they ended up looking intimidating instead of cute.

I like to imagine her as wearing diapers for comfort, as she would be fairly shaken up from the events of Super Mystery Dungeon.(I won't spoil it, as it is a very good game)
