I've never really been that much into Dragonball, but after seeing Giran i just HAD to draw him one day, the fact that he's already kinda fat by default already sold me, not to mention his proud and unapologetic personality x3
Did a lot of experimenting with this piece inbetween Birthday shenanigans, there's this site called Posemaniacs where you can choose between a variety of different poses and tilt them to your liking, i did some browsing in the Bodybuilding section and found the perfect pose to feature this lovely reptile in, though he's a bodybuilder in a different way~
I spent a lot of time trying new things with the eyes here, wanted to try blending colors a bit to get that reptile look as well as add some reflection in the eyes from the flashing cameras and spotlight, it turned out pretty well! took a while to get right though
Enjoy! I wanna quickly thank you for all of your birthday wishes though! It means soo much to me and i had a wonderful birthday! I got a book on animation i've wanted for a long while, a new microphone and some cool shirts, and i ate a ton of cake obviously, but yeah i owe you all a lot <3

I actually wanted him to pull that pointing pose that some bodybuilders do but it ended up angles a bit too much towards the viewer, but it does pull the viewer in which is a nice effect~
And that would make for one heck of an intense match, filled with wobbling, smooshing and the occasional thundering belch <3
