Well here's the pair all finished at last, framed and ready to put in the FLOW gallery in a month or two.
I think it' best to wait until the 4th of July to display this pair...for obvious reasons.

Wow a really awesome job painting those cels and they really look so very nice framed too!! I really love how the two birds are facing each other, tis almost like they are greeting one another. The cels over the background really adds a nice touch too!! I really admire your talent sir!!
Ducky Hugs Aww, you are so very welcome and thank you so very much for those kind complements. You are a very talented and gifted artist and have an eye for painting both cartoon birdies and real birdies with such realism and depth. Keep up the awesome work and the Ducky wishes ya lots of luck in your Art Show :D
Those two look awesome together like that, the frame work really brings it all together. I really hope that you sell them as a matching set at the FLOW gallery. I'll definitely be keeping my fingers crossed for you.
You're artwork and style has come such long way over the last year or two, I can't wait to see what it will look like in the next couple of years.

*hugs a gator* I want to thank you for your support and the best wishes too. I hope that perhaps these two will sell, though I'm going to miss them "if" they do, they are a happy couple indeed.
Yeah, it's weird how doing one thing leads to another and each style seems to find its niche. I wanted to do something larger for the gallery and I think these two will be a neat example of the strangeness that 'is' my style.
Perhaps I've started something here that will evolve into something bigger, something that I will be known and remembered for? Only time will tell.
No tellin' what I'll be doing in a few years. Perhaps I should work on some gator cel art next? ;}

Yes, yes I did; everything from drawing the concept sketches to inking them out on the acetate and then painting them with cel-vinyl paints and planning the backgrounds too. I designed them so that they would compliment each other. (I hope that they do!) __and I cut the blue matte that frames each of them. I "did not" make the frames though. ;) Now they will go on display in July in the FLOW gallery in Danville, a city several miles from here.
Thanks so much for the very nice compliment. I don't get to hear nearly enough from you!

You've got a great idea there. I actually have a piece that I'm going to put in the middle of these two (cause I can submit three works to the FLOW gallery). I've got a nicely penciled eagle head with a nice black pastel boarder that might look splendid between these two when on display.
I want to thank you so much for the very sweet comment. If I impressed the penguin, then I've done well. :) *hugs*
