here we are, a DPMS Panther LR 308 with a Strikefire 2 red-dot. Lovely thing about this one is I can build a second upper for long range :)

Vortex makes some nice glass for the money. My problem with the Strikefire is that I can't get used to the "red dot" style - too much "Black" around the sight picture for me. I've had to go back to 1-4 power scopes.

I like it. The black around the optic isn't bad for me. I haven't had it to the range yet with my lovely Minnesota weather and all :)
