Him in trouble!

I just can't help but think of Sam from Sam & Max when I see that. He has a bigger gun though.

My criticism: the character doesn't look like he belongs in the scene. I would think, given the atmosphere, something would compell him to stand more "at the ready" with his fire arm. Missing people, midnight disturbance, whatever has drawn to this place, and its sights and smells, would likely have him standing more ready with his weapon (regardless how unaware of the monster he is). Mind you, the character is fine, just his pose is so unnatural that it takes me out of it.

My compliment: holy shit, that scene! Marvelous doesn't do it justice. "Professionally done" springs to mind. The colors, the lighting and shadow, everything about the scene is breathtaking the more I look at it. Great job
