First piece here, I feel as if the shading is completely off. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

My personal opinion is, I think it's actually pretty good. However, the pecs seem to curve inward, making Chadd looks like he has a flat chest when he stands. Hot dragon though

Yeah, the shadows along the left (our left) pec seem a bit too big. I'd recommend giving it more light. Also on the tail there perhaps shouldn't be any visible shading at all except on the bumps, perhaps.

Over all, though, it's a really nice piece, dude! Great work!

I think the pic looks really good. On his left shoulder (our right) the curve closer to his head should have a slight shadow though.

As said above, it's quite good! Art-wise and character design is pleasing to the eye, and I do like the down-low angle.

I don't really know enough about shading to have a helpful feedback, but I really think you've got some awesome talent. Keep it up! Tremendous character too. He looks snuggle and gentle, but also pretty tough too.

Yes, it's hard to imagine where the light source is for casting the shadows you see, as it seems to be his left side, front of him for the torso, yet right side, almost behind him for the face.

He's a good looking scaly!
