Before her transformation, Penny Rodriguez was a person struggling to make it in Omina City. She worked two jobs to barely get by and was constantly harassed by many dirtbags around her neighborhood. The only way Penny relieved the stress of the constant harassment was by a third "job" she had moonlighting as a dominatrix for wealthy men with weird kinks. The role reversal and gaining of power was like a drug to her and it felt goo to dish out some hurt to people who wanted it and to those she visualized as her tormentors. After the "DNAftershock" event that changed many people into Hybrids, Penny was changed to a Hyena and started to gain a bit of a bloodlust and unfortunately for her neighborhood harassers, some of them were turned into prey animals and she feasted on them. Taking her dominatrix gear, Penny became a murderous vigilante named Domina , and went throughout the city to get any men who take things too far with women. Weeks after her transformation, Domina met Sneaks and found him quite useful to her and made him her slave/boyfriend.

Domina uses a whip and gun as her primary weapons but her best weapon is her teeth, jaws, and strength. She can bite through flesh and bone with ease and lift full grown men with little effort on her part.
