For this edition of "Throwback Thursday", I present the first of three separate 'photo-ops' of farm animals (taken by my brother Glenn, with his smartphone)...

On Saturday, February 25, 2017, my sibling was in a deep funk, and I couldn't think of a public event in south Florida that could take his mind off of it. So, finally, I'd suggested that we drive up to Parkland (a city north of Margate, where we live), and check out some of the farm animals that reside with their human owners...

Well, apparently, that did the trick, because we got to see a variety of critters on some privately-owned properties in the area. Every now and then, Glenn would pull his Mini-Cooper to the side of the road, get out, and take digital pictures of said farm animals. And I thought I'd share three of his best snapshots with you...

This first offering is of a pair of long-horned steer, resting under the shade of a nearby tree in the middle of an open field. Watch for another 'photo-op' from my bro, later on...
