i'll likely come back to this later and refine it at some point, but a friend threw a silly idea at me and i ran with it.

She's a medusa-type creature who dwells in a deep subterranean garden. What she REALLY wants, are statues for her collection. Unfortunately, she finds it very hard to maintain eye contact with anyone long enough to fully petrify them ... so her collection is quite bare.

... she does employ a number of skeletons to help tend to the unnatural vegetation, though. That's a plus.
