another one I did while I was sick
I kicked out two heroes that really are only connected via team (I'll explain below). This, again, was me getting a feel for what they should be like.
Hero Boy - is a very unusual case. In a dark future, he was a very powerful villain that successfully killed several people and took over a good number of cities. In the end he got cornered, and as a last ditch effort he tried to send his consciousness back in time to repossess his younger self and start again with in depth knowledge. He was killed during this transfer process, so his younger INNOCENT self only ended up with tons of horrible memories and in depth knowledge. He immediately enlisted with Atlas out of fear of turning evil.
Matron D - WAS a villain henchwoman for the mob. She has the oddly specific ability to summon cutlery and dining ware. After her mob bosses were taken out, she got on parole (due to her services being more coerced than offered). Not being able to find gainful employment, she wormed her way into a youth team due to them not clearly identifying/justifying the age limits according to EEOC statutes. She hates it, but it's better than welfare.
I'll do full portraits of these later.
If you'd like to find out more about Happenstance (and all the insanity that goes on in there) check out my dA fanclub --> http://happenstancefans.deviantart.com/
Plenty of posts, and all of them with detailed write-ups like this one.
