Lifesize Husky Standup
Sorry for the busy photo - I'll get a better one when it's not raining all evening outside here! People keep asking me about this guy, though, so here's a preview!
Humpfree is my new unofficial Foxloft Studios mascot - I made him to bring to a husky specialty dog show I went to (I needed a new shirt display!) and will be dragging him around to many more events. :) He is 6 ft 6" tall and thanks to the handiwork of Mbala and a few hinges, folds down into a relatively manageable size for travel!
Many thanks to Mbala and Thornwolf who were a huge help the week I was getting this ready. :)
And - Playbow Husky tshirts (like the one Humpfree is sporting!) are available for sale here: http://foxloft.com/store/shirts

It looks a bit awkward in this photo but his torso actually ends much higher up - the shirt just lays flat on him so it looks really dropped/stunted. I'll get better photos (and one with the chest form under the shirt which really helps! And maybe one of him nude ;)
When we get some better pics I'll take one of him without clothing. :) It's not really exciting, the chest/etc are just whitewashed since I didn't want to take the time to detail them when they'll always be hidden by clothing. Maybe I'll post the original sketch, that would give a better idea as to the form.
I'd be happy to make them for people but I doubt many would want to pay what they would cost in material and time. It would easily take me a week or two to finish one this size with super detailed paint job (you can see individual hairs on him) - so it would be worth a few week's pay for me. It's a lot of fun but really time consuming!
It's actually a bit of a pain because even though one of the arms folds in to make the whole thing smaller for transport, it's a lot of finagling to get the shirt on without stretching/harming it. Not that big of a deal, but not a simple on-off, either. If his hands weren't spread so far like that it wouldn't be hard at all. :)
