Graves still exist for a LOT longer- remember that the Pyramids of Egypt are graves, and they're 4000+ years old! There are roman graveyards still, and Viking burial grounds too.

Here in New England graves marked by extant stones can go back thru the 1600s.
In fact, the yard this stone is in (Union Cemetery in Holbrook, MA) doesn't seem "that old" to me because the stones "only" go back to ~1759.
