“R.O.S.E., how in the world did you get your hands on one of those and why?” Super Moo asked with a scowl on her face staring down the apparatus. Battle Badger covered her muzzle attempting to quiet a soft giggle while trying to hide it with a feigned look of amazement.
“I purchased one online from a black market arms broker commonly known for dealing with mercenaries and super villains alike. I found several weaknesses in the design as I was reviewing the schematics in the Peacekeeper mainframe.”
“Wait, you hacked the Peacekeeper’s system!?” Super Moo quickly interrupted the Cyborg weasel. She lowered her head scrunching her eyes shut and rubbed the wide bridge of her snout. Her head shook unable to utter much more in reply.
R.O.S.E. cocked her head stiffly looking back and forth between the two Women. She wore a mechanically cold blank facial expression as the ocular implant of her right eye continued to dilate and change colors slightly. No doubt scanning the body language and readings from the heroines in attempt to understand their responses.
“Ms. Psy-Fang was encouraging me to find a hobby for my free time aside from war gaming with other hackers to improve my own security suites and counter measures.”
Battle Badger and Super Moo slowly turned in unison looking at each other in dis belief and then back at R.O.S.E. She had her back to them already unhooking the harness from the Mannequin.
Battle Badger shuffled slightly to get closer to Super Moo. She leaned gently on the Amazon causing her to jump slightly looking down curiously to see what BB was doing. The blue sparkling eyes peering through her red mask looked up at her with of surprise and hesitation as she raised her hand to her muzzle to whisper to Super Moo.
“Is she serious, or does she have a horrible sense of humor?”
Super Moo leaned down slightly as she felt Battle Badger pressing into her for support. Softly, she whispered back.
“I really don’t know sometimes with her...”
