UPDATE: as of 05/15/2020, Eska now fully belongs to
farflord
Tyka was never much of a mall-going person, but when she realized she was outgrowing her scarce wardrobe she knew it was time to rush to the nearest clothing sale in town. Whatever she could manage to grab, she hoped, aside from being her size, would be worth the gas expenses. Her second hand car wasn’t even fully paid yet. Such was the life for a low-rate merc nowadays.
Unfortunately, the packed traffic wasn’t doing her any favors and her fears of a full parking lot became true when she saw the rows and rows of stationed cars. Her search for an empty spot was growing desperate and the broken AC wasn’t helping. But then she saw one. The sight of the car leaving its spot filled her with much needed relief. That is, until she another car opposite of her, waiting for the same spot - and the one behind its wheel.
Of all people in the world, it had to be Eska. That obnoxious butterfly! Her expression was as appalled as Tyka’s. But truth be told, Eska wasn’t having it much different from Eska. She was behind in rent and could barely afford new underwear. And she had enough of Tyka during their many clashes in their line of work. Why did she have to find that annoying rabbit here?!
Well, they were not gonna let the other one up them this time. Not today. Not a moment after they stepped out of their cars, the two began one of their typical fisticuffs. The crowds of shoppers only stared as the ladies’ fight moved from the parking lot into the highway.
Drivers were advised to take a detour - everyone knew better than to meddle in a fight between the infamous rabbit and butterfly mercenaries.
