At the start of last year I found Miss Cynphira, and was delighted to learn that she was only about an hour away from us. Adding to the excitement (beyond the fact that we hadn’t found any other local Canadian dragons to date), there was a good number of shared interests between her and myself (some already detailed in my gallery), as well as her and Shato too. We had originally planned an initial meet up around this time last year, but her life veered off in another direction and things ended up falling apart.


More recently, her life vectored again and opportunities opened up once more. We decided to pounce quickly this time before something came up again. Happily, the connection was made, and we’ve been able to indulge in a few visits so far, which have been quite enjoyable. Movies and snuggles, scrithces and giggly shows, along with pets and shared video games were all savored as a group. Additionally, the girls also partook conversing about mutual shared niche topics like fast cars and predatory floof birds, while sharing some favored metal music, and indulging in train spotting from our apartment (we live right beside the tracks, and the while place trembles when the freight trains come by – like like living down in CA again with little earthquakes!). Cyn and I also had some chances on our own to partake in other primal dragonly delights that don’t interest Shato (at least not in the physical realm at any rate )


All in all, it’s been a pretty good start to the year, and the lovely Cynphira has played no small part in that! It would seem she feels the same way as well, and as an expression of gratitude she whipped up this lovely sketch commemorating some of our snuggle time. It was a lovely surprise, and quite a delight since I have a thing for transcribing real-world moments into the scaled equivalent. More visits and fun planned in the future, and a couple yummy commission idea’s in the works as well, including one that was spawned a year ago but got put aside at the time when life took new tracks. No sign of catastrophic divergence on the horizon though, so you should be able to expect some more commissions by and/or involving this pretty dragoness
