s-gaugers are an interesting niche of the hobby. back when a.f. was still in production in the 1950s, they were always better proportioned then lionel's tinplate O.
i always love the s-gauge corner at train fairs. i've got too many other things going in too little space myself, as it is, but i'd be sorely tempted if i had a chance like that. i remember their catalogues from the 50s and there were a lot of things in them i would have liked to have had.
