All 3d programs have a bit of a learning curve. But if you don't mind watching a few vids on YouTube I'd say zbrush is pretty user friendly. Unfortunately it's pretty expenSive. I have a student licence. If you wanted to try 3d though blender is free and the sculpting tools are great so long as you have a halfway decent computer.
