I know this is nitpicking, and it is not intended to be a complaint, but the rat in the first pic seems a bit off. Specifically, her head relative to her shoulders seems to be a bit misangles, making it look less like she'd panicking and more like she's either detaching or reattaching her head.
Then again, if it wasn't fatal, it would still be a valid reason to panic. It's not exactly normal, after all.
Still, it's just a case of me seeing what looks like a probable gaffe and giving it an interpretation that I don't think was likely on your mind (as that's, if I recall, not something you are into).
Sorry if my weird interpretation creeps you out.
